'ALEWIFE'
2022

ALEWIFE was documented in North Cambridge late in the evening of 9/3/2022, and had been in its design process beginning in April 2022. The work references the gritty station where the Red Line of the MBTA starts: a 5 story parking garage with multiple bus terminals, and well known by for its massive spiral ramp plastered by graffiti. It is a place of presence and transience, people are always coming and going, enabling exploration and exposure to the city's visual identity. New experience brings perspective, as well as unexpected growing pains.
